NYLON JAPAN GEEK FASHION !!! GO KAWAII!

5 November 2014

One of my highlights last month was the visit of my lovely friend Yuka from Tokyo. Obviously she knows I´m a Fashion freak and that´s why she bought the Japanese Nylon for me. The Japanese Fashion scene is pretty much the most exciting to me, as everything seems to be allowed.  When flipping through the nylon magazine, you can see everything from colourful kawaii fashion to unique shapes and patterns.  This issue is called “Geek Fashion” and  there´s so much Hello Kitty stuff in it, the Cover girl even has Hello Kitty in her Hair. A hairdo I definitely approve of as a Hello Kitty fan. There are some more Nylon Geek Fashion trends I want to tell you about:

-          Manga  & Comic
Pikachu Handbags, Aristocats shoes, Patrick Star charms, snoopy snoods; There´s pretty much EVERYTHING you can imagine with Manga or Comic characters, our favorite Disney stars and oh yes, I almost forgot: HELLO KITTY

-          Varsity jackets
Varsity jackets are never really out of fashion. Here, they are combined with overly cute outfits or gorgeous Maxi skirts.

-          Show your crazy socks!
There are so many cute patterns, you should not hide them! Mix and match cool socks and wear them with sandals, heels or sneakers. Yes, I know, that really sucked at school. Time to leave that behind though,  go geeky!

-          Nail Art
Okay, nail Art is nothing new,… but there are quite a few crazy things I´ve never seen before.  Aliens, unicorns, leopard rainbow patterns, smileys, EGGS, whatever you like. Check out these, found at http://chalkboardnails.tumblr.com/

And here are my Nylon geek looks ;)

WHAT AM I WEARING?!

Cat ears- H&M

College Jacken

Zeigt her eure Socken!
