Nightmare before Christmas

14 December 2014

It is commonly known that during Christmas season, 90 percent of the population wear nothing but red Christmas Sweater and live on biscuits and gingerbread. Most of them also dance around the Christmas tree with a dozen little elves.
Let´s face the truth; Christmas can be such a nightmare. Basically, you are stressed out for weeks because you either can´t find the perfect presents, or you can´t afford them. Actually ou´re still wearing all black while grudging the thousands of people who are blocking your way, while you only meant to get a few rolls from the stores. By the time you´re done decorating the house with cheap neon coloured fairy lights, you realize that you forgot your cookies in the oven. You fight with your relatives and fake a smile when you get everything you never wanted. At least, that is what you get when you expect too much. The best thing you can do on Christmas is to calm down and to thank god for all the bakeries who can deal with the biscuits for you. I don´t know anybody who runs around in a festive outfit, whistling his favourite Christmas tune for the entire month. There´s really no need to lose your mind trying to live the perfect Christmas dream.

Here´s my not so festive outfit ;)

Skirt- H&M
Gothic style blouse- Primark
Boots- Missguided
Socks- Topshop

    1. hahahha it was quite funny, I bought this because I was working as a teacher last year and I thought I was supposed to wear smart shirts and stuff so I bought loads of victorian style blouses as I don´t like normal shirts haha.
