Every year I think winter never ends and then suddenly there they are: THE FIRST SUNRAYS! I can finally start wearing all my dresses and summery clothes. The only problem is finding them. To me, the most important thing about the seasons is rearranging my wardrobe. I thought I share my wardrobe checklist with you guys:
1. Do you really need this?
Okay, most of the time, the answer is YES. I know you can´t live without these old dirty shoes and that 5 year old dress (it´s not too small, really!!) But there are always a couple of pieces that can go. If they are still wearable, bring them to a charity shop or give them to friends. I managed to find LOTS of clothes I don´t need anymore this year and I´m hosting a little vintage market in my room! :)
2. Divide Winter & Summer clothing
Put the clothes of the current season where you can find them and hide the others on the top shelf. If you have more than one wardrobe it´s a little bit easier.
3. Recycle
If the shape or style of an item is a little bit outdated you still like it you should try to alter it. If you can sew you can do almost everything. If you can´t just try to come up with a cool idea. Maybe some of your old jeans would look cool as shorts, or your favourite shirt would make a cool crop top. Adding patches is always a solution! ;)
4. The best part: Make a shopping list!
Imagine summer is coming and you have no decent shorts! Find out what´s missing in your wardobe and make a list! :)

Great ideas! I always try to clean out my closet a couple of times a year. If things are too worn and torn, I throw them away. My mom likes to buy me clothes though, and they aren't my style, so I always have a handful items that are practically brand new. Plus I usually have a couple of items that I have bought but decided later I didn't like so they are like new as well. I usually give these items to a friend of my sisters. I definitely agree that you should recycle or donate these items that are nice enough.

I really need to make a shopping checklist. I usually like to pull inspiration from online bloggers and Pinterest; sometimes I even print out the pictures so I know exactly what I want and how I envision wearing the items.
