This weekend I attended the Goodstock Blogger
event. Goodstock is an amazing Manchester based Charity Shop that carries an
extremely well selected range of affordable vintage. Often, young people
hesitate to go to charity shops because they think it´s embarrassing and
because the selection is often poor. (Personally I do go to Charity shops, YAY
for good deeds and treasure hunts.)However, Goodstock really managed to open a
whole new chapter, they are hip, well designed AND do charity. This week they
invited Manchester Bloggers to meet in their awesome penthouse style rooms to
browse their stock and create exciting outfits. (We also indulged in eating
loads of the yummy Proper Corn Popcorn ;) The main three occasions we were
supposed to style, were night out, festival and interview. Seeing that I suck
at everything but festival outfits, my decision was pretty clear. I styled
three festival looks. My first look is a bit Manchester inspired. I have seen
quite a lot of people around here wearing these oversized and slightly too short
cotton pants. I´m in love with this look
at the moment. It comes with a classic:
the flower crown. My second look is rather
90s/grunge; another one of my favourite styles. With the casual shirt and the boyfriend jacket,
it´s definitely a laid back festival look. Outfit three is for the girly
festival crowd: a floral vintage co –ord. I think this is a really cute look if
you like being more dressy at festivals. Which Look is your favourite?
bezahlbaren Vintage Kleidern verkauft.
gleich drei Festival Outfits gestyled. Mein erster Look ist inspiriert von
Manchester.
kurzen Stoff Hosen gesehen.

I love when a thrift store actually has some good visual merchandising going on instead of just a bunch of random stuff on racks! Although I do love the thrill of the hunt :)
