La Belle Beauty & My first ever manicure and spraytan

Last Monday I went to Cheadle, in the beautiful south of Manchester to visit the La Belle Beauty Salon. To be honest I´m a a bit of a beauty newbie and my face expression probably gave me away when a lovely employee asked me what my favourite nail shape is. (NAILS HAVE SHAPES?!) Yes, Indeed I never had my nails done before and the excitement was big. First I chose from one of the numerous shellack colours they had in store and decided to go for a classic nude. Then I got my cuticles cut, my nails filed and polished. I must admit that it was a lot of fun and somehow relaxing... Why did I never do this before? All the compliments I got for my nails (that still look absolutely flawless after four days) definitely showed me that I should take more care of them. The craziest part of the night was definitely my first ever spray tan by Black Magic. Well, I always wanted to try a spray tan but I was also a bit scared. So many people I know had bad experiences with it and who hasn´t seen girls on the street yet with horrible patchy tans?! In the end I decided to go for it, You never know if you don´t give it try! Luckily I felt in safe hands when the owner of the brand told me that she is using their lightest colour and told me how I take care of it best. She applied the colour carefully and without missing any spots. Everything turned out very natural looking without patches and I was pleasantly surprised. All my friends thought that I look naturally tanned and some asked whether I went on a holiday recently. After a few days and a few showers my hands started to get lighter such as the inside of my arms but there are no drastic changes, patches or unwanted effects. All in all I was extremely happy with my nails and my spraytan and I´m already planning a little cheadle dayout with one of my friends. Come and join us :)

LA BELLE

Letzten Montag war ich in cheadle in dem schönen Süden Manchesters um den La Belle Beauty Salon zu besuchen. Um ehrlich zu sein bin ich ein Beauty Neuling und mein Gesichtsausdruck hat mich sicherlich verraten als ich nach meiner Lieblings Nagelform gefragt wurde. (NÄGEL HABEN EINE FORM?!) Jap, Ich habe tatsächlich noch nie meine Nägel machen lassen und die Spannung war groß. Zuerst durfte ich eine der zahlreichen Schellack Farben wählen und ich habe mich für ein klassisches Nude entschieden. Dann bekam ich meine Nägel gepfeilt, die Nagelhaut gestutzt und dann wurde lackiert. Ich muss doch zugeben es hat richtig viel Spaß gemacht und es war gewissermaßen beruhigend. Warum hab ich das noch nie gemacht?! Die ganzen Komplimente die ich für meine Nägel bekommen habe beweisen dass ich vielleicht doch besser auf sie aufpassen sollte. Der aufregendste Teil der Nacht war aber mein Spray tan. Irgendwie wollte ich dass ja immer mal probieren weil das einfach so ein großer Trend hier ist in England aber dann sieht man auch dauernd Mädchen mit katastrophalen fleckig orangen tans. (Um genau zu sein scheinen die das auch so zu wollen.) Auf jeden Fall dachte ich man kann es ja mal probieren sonst weiß man nie ob es gut ist oder nicht. Die Besitzerin der Marke “Black Magic” wusste was sie tat und hat mir nochmal versichert dass sie die hellste Farbe verwendet. Und ich war wirklich positiv überrascht. Meine Bräune ist absolut ebenmäßig und auch nach ein paar Duschen ist keine unerwünschte Veränderung aufgetreten außer dass meine Hände und Arminnenseiten ein bisschen heller geworden sind. Insgesamt war das eine richtig coole Erfahrung und ich plane schon einen kleinen cheadle trip mit meinen Freundinnen!
