Yesterdays
Outfit was inspired by the British 60s supermodel Twiggy. Mini
Skirts, smashing colours and her iconic eye make-up made her an icon
of the century. Even today she still inspires artists and designers
and … well me. Though I turned the eye make up down a lot (mainly
because I only had half an hour to get ready,) one of my friends
immediately knew what I was trying to go for. The dress is vintage
and especially the A-Line mini and the unique collar are very
classical 60s elements. My favourite part about the outfit are my
light blue tights which come straight from the 60s as well and give
the outfit that extra something. To make the whole look a bit more
modern I added a leather jacket and some Doc Martens Brogues.
Photo´s are
taken in the beautiful Arts and Design Centre Manchester.

Twiggy was great, but I´d never match her style, I am way to curvy.

Leather jackets are like the BEST things EVER! I love this outfit, especially pairing the jacket with the dress! It brings a mix of the 60s style in my opinion! <3
